Business
We provide devices and related technologies for the capture and enrichment of exosomes and other extracellular vesicles using GlycoCapture🄬.
Exosomes are small lipid bilayer vesicles, approximately 30–150 nm in diameter, secreted by nearly all types of cells. They contain proteins and nucleic acids (such as microRNA, messenger RNA, and DNA), and are believed to play a key role in intercellular communication.

GlycoCapture® HM – EVs/miRNApurification & Extraction Kit –
High-mannose N-glycans (HM)-specific spin column
GlycoCapture® HM is a silica monolith spin column densely and directionally immobilized with Oscillatoria agardhii agglutinin (OAA), a lectin derived from the cyanobacterium Oscillatoria agardhii, which selectively recognizes and binds high-mannose glycans (HM).
It captures and enriches not only glycoproteins containing HM but also cells, extracellular vesicles (EVs), viruses, and bacteria that present HM on their surface. By adding the included elution buffer, it enables the solubilization and elution of internal components (such as proteins, mRNA, miRNA, and DNA) directly on the column.
Potent binding capacity of immobilized ligand (OAA)
OAA exhibits exceptionally high binding affinity for high-mannose–containing glycoproteins (in the nanomolar to picomolar range). Its affinity (KD) for GP120, the HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein, is approximately 1,000 times stronger than that of typical antigen–antibody interactions. OAA does not bind to monosaccharide mannose, demonstrating high specificity for high-mannose structures.
